Kalahari Desert is a varied savannah covering much of Botswana, as well as parts of Namibia and South Africa: northern and eastern regions feature dry forests and salt lakes and a sub-humid climate; the southern and western regions feature predominantly xeric savannah and a semi-arid climate.
